I wonder why a woman would feel inclined to ever reveal that information to a man? I would imagine that a woman would want to keep that sordid personal history under wraps with a man she liked. In a way, a woman glibly confessing to an abortion is disrespectful to a man she is dating. It's as if she doesn't care what he thinks about her, or, worse, does care but assumes that all men think like her, which would not be an unreasonable assumption given the Open Air Simposium in which we all live and labor. More darkly, a woman might expose the rot in her soul to a man she desires because it implicates him in her sin, if he refuses to judge her for it. And once implicated, she would feel no remorse should she abort HIS child after a change of heart.
