Collecting, selling, repairing and discussing Farmall Tractors. 🚜 _____________ Farmall tractors were first produced by International Harvester (IH) in 1923. The Farmall name was derived from the company's slogan, "Farmall, the tractor that works like a team of horses." _____________ The first Farmall tractor, the Model F-12, was designed to be small, lightweight, and versatile, making it suitable for use on smaller farms. Over the years, IH introduced various Farmall models, ranging from small, general-purpose tractors to larger, more specialized machines. Some notable Farmall models include the A, B, C, H, and M series. _____________ In 1947, IH introduced the first diesel-powered Farmall tractor, the Model MD. In 1985, IH merged with J.I. Case, forming Case IH. The Farmall brand continued to be used on smaller tractors, while the larger models were branded as Case IH. In 1990, the last Farmall tractor, the Model 140, was produced. _____________ Today, the Farmall name is still used by Case IH on their line of compact and utility tractors, which are designed for small farms, landscaping, and hobby farming applications. The original Farmall tractors are highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts due to their historical significance and unique design.
