This idea came to me this morning and thought to share it. As the “end of the world” slowly becomes a reality, a wholistic approach to “prepping” is what keeps coming to mind. The trend nowadays is to make sure you have your bunker with food, weapons, water, don’t forget the can opener, doomsday truck, etc. Prepping is so popular that even millionaires and billionaires are doing it. At the very least pretty much everybody is talking about prepping. But that’s only 1/3 of the prepping needed to truly try to get through this. “Wholistic prepping“ is the concept that keeps coming to me. A complete mind, body and soul approach to prepping that most are missing. What is the point of “being prepared” in a physical sense (body) when the mind and soul ends up lost in it? It’s important to prep physically (body) but that type of prepping has it’s limitations as we only have so many resources at our disposal. In a “community” sense we are also limited by the people within the community. We also have to be realistic on the fact that nobody knows how to prepare for the unknown. And anybody that tells you they know how it’s going to go down, they’re full of shit. On the other hand, mental and spiritual prepping is practically limitless. It is an ongoing process that is only limited by your willingness to do it. You are “prepping” the part of you that oversees the physical. You are prepping the part of you that transcends the physical once all is said and done. I personally believe mental and spiritual prepping are extremely important by the mere fact that it’s the ones that people want to do the least. With wholistic prepping you get to work on all three in a more balanced way.
