When I think about the heroes of the faith, like Abraham, Joseph, Nehemiah, Elijah, Ruth, Esther, and everyone mentioned in Hebrews 11, and especially Jesus, the pattern is always the same. Before God will bless us and trust us with a good work, He will allow us to go through trials and testings! It might not change our current circumstances, but it does bring a bit of comfort. At the moment, all I have left is a mustard seed of faith. I did pray for the mountain to be cast into the sea, but all I got was a mudslide that blocked my road, haha... After much suffering, betrayal, slander and hardship due to my witness for Christ, I'm at the end of my rope. Even though I do trust the Lord, I need to answers to my prayers. I live alone off the grid in a place that most folks would love to have, but it's still a very lonely place most of the time. I'm asking the Lord for a solid brother who can deal with the ins and outs of running the place so I can leave and not have to worry about my unsaved neighbours from burning it to the ground. I'm married to a beautiful sister in Christ from Africa. We've know each other for 8 years, married for 4, but Canadian immigration is making it impossible by denying our applications. She's a university educated professional woman and small business owner. She would be a great asset to this country, but apparently they only want terrorists now... I'm a minor partner in a business venture with a solid, humble brother in the Lord. We have a few irons in the fire, all of which are winners, but we are in need of operating capital. All we want to do is be a blessing to the body of Christ with whatever the Lord blesses us with. We've had promises of help from some Christians, but they either want 51% or they just don't return calls or emails. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no. Anything else is from the evil one!
