HAPPY God's 7th day Sabbath! Friday sunset to Saturday sunset (8/21-8/22/26). "Hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God." (Ezekiel 20:20) Gentiles also, >Isaiah 56:6-7 Also, the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants— Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant— Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: THIS week's Sabbath message: Seal of God, Part XXV FULFILLING THE FRUITS OF LOVE - Segment 4. JESUS said, >John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. JESUS paid for our sins with His blood on the cross to free us from the bondage of the father of sin (Satan). The cross represents two types of love and connection: • The Vertical Beam: Points up to heaven and down to earth. This represents our relationship with God. It matches the Greatest Commandment to love God with all your heart (Matthew 22:37) and the first 4 of the Ten Commandments. • The Horizontal Beam: Reaches out wide like open arms. This represents our relationship with others. It matches the Second Commandment to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39) and the last 6 of the Ten Commandments. Our vertical relationship with God must come first. God's love flows down to us vertically, and our love flows up to Him as we keep His commandments. Then, we spread that love horizontally to everyone else. IN Exodus, God delivered His people from the bondage of Egypt. His first commandment states: >Exodus 20:2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. He reminded them of the Sabbath rest they could not fulfill while under the yoke of Pharaoh. Pharaoh is described as a dragon in Ezekiel 29:3 and fought against this rest: >Exodus 5:5 And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens. Because they had carnal minds, God called them a "stiffnecked people" (Exodus 32:9). To help them remember His law, God told them to wear a blue ribbon on the fringes of their garments: >Numbers 15:39-40 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them... and be holy unto your God. MANY Christians today forget His commandments because carnal minds overshadow them. Just as God used the blue ribbon in the Old Testament, Jesus tells us today to use the cross to remember His law: >Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. BEFORE you act with a carnal mind, visualize the cross with His Ten Commandments of love written in your heart. >Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; KEEP God’s Ten Love Commandments. Do not return to the vomit of yesterday, and stay free from the yoke of the father of sin (Satan).
