#HongKong public broadcaster #RTHK has sought to withdraw its entries from #journalism awards organised by the Society of Publishers in Asia Awards (#SOPA) and the Human Rights Press Awards (#HRPA). A HRPA spokesperson confirmed that the director of broadcasting at RTHK contacted them to request their entries be withdrawn, but HRPA said that the rules do not allow.
