Stop calling this a counting problem. It is a power problem wearing a clipboard. They ran the constitutional headcount, missed hundreds of thousands of people in Republican states, padded Democratic ones, published the fucking audit, and then told the country the scoreboard was sacred. Not “we will fix the formulas.” Not “we will open the models.” Just: regrettable, permanent, see you in 2030. House seats sit on that lie. Electoral votes sit on that lie. Hundreds of billions in federal cash sit on that lie. Through 2028, no matter what any voter does at the ballot box, because the deck was stacked before the first card was turned. Random error does not pick a party. This one did. Tennessee gutted. Florida short about 750,000 human beings. Texas short. Delaware, Rhode Island, New York stuffed. Hawaii and Minnesota stuffed. Then the same shop that did it partnered with a roster of progressive NGOs to “reach the hard-to-count,” which in practice meant pouring public money and foundation cash into the exact neighborhoods their politics already worship. Equity language. Partisan harvest. Taxpayer tab. And they still want applause for professionalism. Ninety percent of the Bureau’s campaign money going one way is not a personality quirk. It is the culture of a captured shop. A million little calls, no memo required, and the map comes out looking like a Democratic project. Then Commerce left the crooked numbers in the funding formulas because the crooked numbers paid Democratic states. That is not incompetence. That is keeping the weapon after you admitted it fired. If you can confess the miss and keep the seats, you are not a statistical agency anymore. You are a faction with a monopoly on the count. Open the models. Rip the advocacy shops out of the operation. Rebenchmark the money. Count every person once, straight, or admit you are done pretending this was ever neutral. https://floppingaces.net/most-wanted/the-census-rigged-a-decade-of-power-then-told-america-the-damage-was-permanent/
