A #Mexican national previously #convicted of #lewd and #lascivious acts with a #minor was turned over to #USBP after finishing his prison sentence. Instead of being #released back into the #community, an #immigration #detainer was honored, and he is now pending #prosecution for #felony #illegalreentry—then #deportation.
