@NeonRevolt I recently got on gab, because of your promotion of it. This is the first time I've ever created a social media account. Due to the sensitivity of my previous work, social media is not encouraged, but I never had an inkling anyway. Gab seems different, because it's a lot harder to dox when we don't have to provide anything personal. In my opinion, the internet was much better when it was, more or less, purely anonymous. The facebooks of the world ruined what was once a great, liberating invention. There was a time when it looked like all information could be almost purely objective. If you didn't know who posted the info, you had to engage it on its merits. If my reasons for getting into this movement are of no interest to you, this is where you can stop reading. I'll just say thanks for your many years of writing and for fostering a community on this free speech platform. In the book 'Witness', Chambers reveals what made him turn away from communism. He was in the USSR and he heard the guttural screams of a family as a member was whisked away in the middle of the night, bound for the gulag. He couldn't get the sound out of his head. This was the reality of the ideology he supported. It required total conformity of opinion, because its foundations could not stand any type of scrutiny. They were total crap. The eternal scream was the natural consequence. I spent fifteen years in the military and had the 'fortunate' circumstance of Forrest Gump'ing my way through at least a decade of geopolitics. If it was in the news, chances are I was doing something in the background. One such instance was Benghazi, 9/11/2012. I don't need to tell you that whatever the obama admin and the mockingbird media (but I repeat myself) said was a lie. 1/2
