Went to Latin Mass this morning at the local Oratory, a chapter of the Institute of Christ the King. It resides in a converted old office building in an industrial/commercial area of Reno, and you could almost mistake it for a DMV office. I arrived 45 min before Mass, hoping to say a Rosary, and there was already a small number well into it. The sanctuary probably held 300 or so people and there was not a seat to be had within 20 min. I suspect folks come from far and wide to attend, and make a day of it. Whatever the Synodality church wants to tell you, there is a core, a remnant, who love Holy Mother Church and are devoted. I will attend as my schedule allows, but anxious to try other parishes here. Will report.
