This is why Biden's pardons need to be challenged in the Supreme Court. The impact of blanket preemptive pardons on our justice system is devastating to the rule of law. If someone has broken the law and been convicted, then you grant a pardon. Doing so ahead of time cuts the rule of law off at the knees. If Biden's pardons stand, anyone can be preemptively pardoned for anything, and the nation will never benefit from thorough criminal investigations of its leaders. That would lead to a complete breakdown in morale and trust in the system. President Ford pardoned Nixon, sparing the nation a painful legal saga. And he lost the next election because of it. But at least in Nixon's case it was openly known that there were crimes committed (though much of the Watergate charges were trumped-up), and it had to do with a president. In the case of most of Biden's pardons no wrongdoing is acknowledged, it is just buried. The real reason for the pardons, of course, is to bury what Obama and Biden did in regarding the placement of 30 bioweapons labs in Ukraine, and whatever graft and corruption attended it. A government was overthrown, a comedian was installed in power, and suddenly the sons of well-placed American politicians received well-paid no-show board positions in prominent Ukrainian firms. They also want to hide whatever role Fauci, Collins and others had in the creation of gain of function diseases that have destroyed so many lives. After cleaning out Garland's filthy DOJ, challenging Biden's preemptive pardons must be Job One for Pam Bondi.
