(opinion) The author of the linked piece in the OP does a good job (whilst not picking deeper as one might wish to on some aspects) capturing the state of one crippling aspect involved in the demise of western based societies ... all from the affects of unrepresentative, undemocratic and culturally ruinous politics and its associated agents, that has been infested , deliberately (what else could it be - organic collective mind warping), with folk that are 'not fit for purpose'.
