Do you know the names of your great-grandparents? I don't know mine. We will be forgotten within a few generations, yet so many of us are driven by self-importance and the desire to be known. Social media is rife with this state of mind. Perhaps it might be worthwhile to step back and consider what truly matters in this life. Where am I spending my energies and why? And a big question...do I sense something beyond me?
