With drastically warmer weather this week, it's almost like a light switch has been flipped in my body and 90% of the burning and aching that I feel on a day to day basis has gone. It's hitting 70 degrees for the next few days here this week, and it was amazing to wake up in the morning and feel... almost normal! My first winter after cancer, I just thought it was because of surgeries and my body still healing a lot. The second winter after I realized that terrible cold weather intolerance issues were a "thing" for whatever reason, and I've struggled through the cold weather months ever since. I guess our minds just get used to things and tune "new normal" levels of pain and discomfort out. I didn't really notice how awful its been until it just disappeared on me today. Dreaming of the day when we close up shop here in the Mid-Atlantic and move south. #CancerSurvivorProblems
