Cancer blog of the day. A lot of cancer fighters and survivors, especially younger, end up experiencing a massive grieving cycle that it's totally not intuitive that we're even experiencing to begin with. It wasn't until a friend was writing about the grieving process through her divorce that things finally clicked, and I realized that I was experiencing a massive grieving process as a cancer survivor as well. When you're a cancer survivor, it's not intuitive that you've "lost" something, as is clear for someone who has actually lost a loved one, or has experienced a failed marriage, because what have we really lost?
