In the rain here in KY I am being called to praise my God and King and share the amazing gift he has given me. I have believed in Jesus as my savior for most of my life. However for years I was ignoring his guidance on my drinking, which for me God identified as a personal sin. For decades I have silently struggled with alcohol addiction. This issue has effected my life in so many ways I cannot even count. In late 2023 it came to a head, effecting many of the wonderful relationships God has blessed me with. I finally got to the point I realized I could do nothing to fix or dig my way out of this addiction. I prayed "God you have to take this, I have no ability to to stop. God I give you all! All my life, love, desires, and faith, make it stop and let me walk for you!" God did! God did his part, I have no desire to drink and have not had any alcohol in well over a year, God is good. Give him your problems completely and he will take them and heal you. I had to give him the whole thing not for a duration or a part but all of it and follow his guidance. Thank you God for your Love and patients with this stubborn man. Christ is King, for God the father! Praise God!
