Well, that was an interesting year, where in the end I rode more than 2400 miles, having expected 2000 to be a stretch goal. It's amazing what a few lockdowns can do. After a few dry years, a return to wet autumn weather is the main reason that the total wasn't much higher, with October and much of December being mostly a wash-out. Literally at times, like this scene from Christmas Eve morning. In summer, I might have waded that carrying my bike, but at this time of year, no way.
