🥹 This Brought Me to Tears 🥹 I was scrolling through the internet and came across a clip from the Lord of the Rings. In this clip Frodo and Sam are at the base of the mountain. Frodo is at his wit's end, he is exhausted, and he is done. The burden of the ring has become too heavy. Sam is there with him and realizes what is happening... Frodo's mission is so close to being done, yet he can't carry the ring. Sam tells him this, "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you." And this is what brought me to tears... It's the exact mentality that we need to strive for in Christian brotherhood. We all have our burdens that we have to carry. I can't carry your burden and you can't carry my burden, but we can carry each other. When your brother in Christ is dealing with something that's very heavy, and they're at their wit's end... Carry them emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and if necessary, physically. “Bear all of you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) #christian #brotherhood #christianity
