When the cows up on the summer range stray into areas they aren't supposed to be, it's on the owner to move them. We spent the day up on the Oregon border, moving about 20 head away from the meadows, up through the timber and down where they're supposed to be. Good horses help get the job done and good company makes for an enjoyable, productive day. It was probably 20 degrees cooler up there and it felt great! Sonny and Patch earned their keep today!
