Next week I begin a Biblical Hebrew class online. It's an intensive two weeks and I'm very excited about it. As I've been studying with Shepherd's Chapel since the late 1990's, I have always wanted to go deeper into the language. The prep work has been good, and I found a great app called Anki. It's free and open source. With the help of Gab.ai, I've been able to upload my own flashcard decks for learning. I will find out next week how well I've done. I'm so thankful that I found Pastor Arnold Murray when I was searching. I remember diligently praying, "Father, please don't let me be misled." I have been forced to learn about different different religions throughout my life because of my varied interests - Tantra and Hinduism with yoga, Buddhism through martial arts. I was blessed to have Pastor Murray's teaching to guide me during those times. As he said, you can dip a toe in the water but don't go over your ankles. What I learned from my experiences is that the Bible, when fully taught and studied, is complete. There are no missing pieces. It makes a complete story from end to end and the important themes are woven beautifully throughout. Often, as go about my days and see situations unfold, my mind will bring up a similar story from the Bible. I have thought about making a game out of like the Name that Tune show. "I can name that Bible story in two sentences." There is nothing new under the sun. Father doesn't leave us wondering. He answers. Ask Him. Enjoy your Sunday! Fitness Old School. Faith and Fitness.
