@Shazlandia This is absolutely right. I spoke to Jody Barrett, TN rep, who is also a lawyer and home school dad. He told me he voted no and this is why. Not only that, the TN bill passed because they promised the schools will continue to get x amount of funding even if student numbers drop due to home school numbers increasing. It's going to cost taxpayers even more. Knoxville school board actually did not want this bill due to government overreach.
