I use to get SNAP payments when Obama was in the White House. There were obvious restrictions in place (i.e. alcohol), but nothing that sounded unreasonable back then. The waivers being approved today are in that same category IMO. But some law firm found a few people complaining about them and convinced them to jump into a lawsuit against the feds. I hope they lose because it's junk food being taken off the table. >"B-but the poor people can't get 12-packs of Coke or gummies with their food stamps anymore!!!" Cry me an ocean and go sail across it, Shinder Cantor Lerner & Asshats. They're getting around $200/month while working 9am-1pm, among other bits of welfare if requested. If they can't get it with the SNAP card, they've got a checking account with some cash in it too. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/snap-recipients-claim-trump-trying-destabilize-food-access-sue-feds-over-junk-food-ban
