🔥 UK: NatWest and RBS to close 142 bank branches in 2023/24 The NatWest Group is closing 142 bank branches this year and next, in a blow for its customers who prefer in-person banking. NatWest said banking has changed “dramatically” in recent years, with demand for mobile and online services rising. The bank has said closing a branch is a decision it takes “very seriously”. NatWest said its Community Pop-up will be available in selected locations for up to 12 weeks after changes to their branch network. Customers can log in to their accounts, make payments or transfer money between accounts via Mobile Banking and Online Banking. The bank also has a 24/7 telephone line.
