The levels of sophistry on the pro-abortion left are incredible. Abortion advocates will say, "Healthy women carrying viable fetuses are not getting abortions in the 3rd trimester in the US. No US doctors perform abortions in the 3rd trimester for healthy women carrying viable fetuses." They are playing a word game they expect nobody else to catch on to. If a healthy woman carrying a viable fetus gets it removed that is murder. They always say "abortion is not murder." It is a legal distinction. Abortion is legally distinct from murder because abortion is allowed and murder is not. So the real argument is not over wether abortion is murder, the argument is where the line between abortion and murder lies. When the left frames it as abortion v murder they are purposely distracting from the real argument. It's far more difficult to win the real argument. They can claim "no babies lives are saved by outlawing abortion" because the babies lives are saved because murder is outlawed and babies are protected by that law. This is a kind of insanity where they convince themselves of this to justify their own action. Or they are just plain evil.
