KAKASHI [Japan, 2001] Again, I found that movie so Lovecraftian. The story is similar to "Shadows Over Innsmouth". • Innsmouth's people are from fishes. Kusukata's people are strawmen. • Innsmouth have the Dagon cult, Kusukata have the scarecrows festival. • both villages are isolated and far from safe places. • Kaouru experiences the same horror as the Innsmouth's narrator.
