The man was rescued from a 225-meter tunnel and flown by helicopter for medical evaluation, according to the prime minister's office. Nepalese workers were pulled alive from the Trishuli hydropower project on Friday, and a woman was rescued from a flooded house in Nuwakot town. Specialized teams from India, China, South Korea and the United States have joined the search for roughly 500 people believed trapped in tunnels across 12 hydropower sites. The Aug. 26 disaster, likely triggered by a glacier collapse, has left more than 5,000 people missing.
