Modern Muslims claim the Christian scriptures have been corrupted since the time of Muhammed. They claim the true gospel is the "Injil" or the Christian doctrine present in Muhammed's time. These scriptures have been found in the form of the Syriac Peshitta, the standard bible of Syriac speaking Christians in Muhammed's time.
