And I fell to my knees. Cried out. Believed. Worshiped. I wanted Jesus—desperately. And I chose Him. But here’s the thing… ⸻ 📖 “It is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” — Philippians 2:13 Wait… what? So the very will I thought was mine— The desire… The hunger… The tears… The faith… 👉🏽 That was Him, too? ⸻ Yes. 🧎‍♂️ I dropped to my knees… because He bent my will. 🧠 I understood the gospel… because He opened my heart. 🗣️ I confessed Jesus as Lord… because the Spirit gave me breath. 🩸 I ran to the cross… because the Lamb had already been slain for me before the foundation of the world. ⸻ This is the tension: 💥 I truly chose Christ… 🛐 But only because Christ first chose me. 💥 I cried out… 🛐 Because He had already called. 💥 I repented… 🛐 Because He granted repentance.
