📖✨ THE CLARITY OF SCRIPTURE One of the greatest gifts God gave His people is this: His Word is clear. Theologians call it the perspicuity of Scripture — which is just a fancy way of saying, The Bible says what it means and means what it says. 👉 God did not write His Word as a secret code. 👉 He did not hide its meaning for only a spiritual elite. 👉 He gave it so that ordinary believers could hear, read, and obey. 📖 Psalm 19:7 — “The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” 📖 Deuteronomy 30:14 — “The word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.” That doesn’t mean every verse is easy. Some passages take work, context, and study. Peter himself admitted Paul’s writings were “hard to understand” (2 Peter 3:16). But “hard” is not the same as “hidden.” The central message is unmistakable: Christ died for sinners, and all who believe in Him will be saved. ⚡️When we treat the Bible like a puzzle with secret codes, we rob it of its power and clarity. God is not trying to trick us. He’s speaking to us. 💠Reflection: Do you read the Bible with the confidence that God is actually speaking plainly to you — not in riddles, but in truth?
