They were beautiful, didn't need a lot of water and natural filters. I noticed immediately when the shrubs were removed and replaced with concrete barricades the increase in smog. When caught up in heavy traffic I could not run the AC, so I'd roll down the windows. After the concrete barricades went up it felt like I'd pass out from the exhaust fumes. They need to put the shrubs back. The Smithsonian has been lying/omitting the truth (which is the same as lying.) to the world for decades. I watched a documentary about the origins of Gonorrhea. They told the world it was American Indians that gave gonorrhea a.k.a. the clap to the European's. An archaeologists went to Europe and excavated cemeteries predating travels to America, and found skeletal remains that had the tell tell signs of the disease. When she took the results to the Smithsonian, the director got irate with her and refused to upgrade the information showing that it came from Europe. Also, they hid the history of the Mound Builders/Giants. Read the book Giants in America. It has old newspaper reports of Giants bones, and how the Smithsonian came around and collected them. That's a piece of America's history I don't recall hearing about from the history books. But there are books written about the subject predating the 1880s. Parents, do not take your children to the Smithsonian.
