Interesting article. I have two people close to me who are going through this. One is being controlled by a husband who does not want to give up and is dragging the family through this suffering, one is willing to let go and go to be with the Lord. My Mom decided to not drag out the inevitable, and we were able to say our last goodbye to her and then she passed in her sleep. It is the toughest decision. My prayers to all who are eventually going to have to make this decision. Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is to say goodbye.
