To be an aggressive, jingoistic, warmongering nation then there are a few simple laws that must be followed. 1. A mobilized army 2. A mobilized war industry 3. Civilians living in austerity to fund the military and war industry. The truth that Germany was the victim of aggression, the defending nation, was staring us in the face our whole lives. Germany was the last nation in Europe to mobilize its army. Even Belgium and Netherlands mobilized before Germany. Poland mobilized in march '39. Germany was the last nation to convert its industry away from civilian quality of life. Germany did everything it could to prevent austerity among it's civilian population. In 1943 Germany had the choice of protecting it's women and children from allied fire bombings, or protecting its soldiers. They chose the civilians as heroes do. We have allowed our German brothers to be hate smeared and victim blamed long enough.
