OK so maybe I get a little too obsessed with this music sometimes. Last night I had a dream where I was watching a YouTube video in which Neal Morse, Nick D'Virgillio, Dave Meros and Ryo Okumoto formed a new band called "News" -- that's the entire Spock's Beard original lineup except for Alan. No idea why they had Dave but not Neal's brother Alan. But for some reason, my brain says Alan got replaced by Jake Livgren and they just couldn't call it Spock's because Alan wasn't in it, so they went from calling it "Spock's Beard News" after their newsletter to just "News" and they were doing shows just playing classic Spock's tunes.
