A U.S. Air Force MH-60G "Pave Hawk" search and rescue helicopter, designed for combat personnel recovery operations, was seen this morning flying low over the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province in southern Iran, following reports that an American F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet was shot down in that area. The MH-60G is a specialized model derived from the UH-60 Black Hawk used by the U.S. Air Force for search and rescue missions in hostile environments.
