Vanessa and I entered about 20 items in the local County Fair yesterday. From her homemade soap to preserved rabbit, green beans, tomatoes fresh and preserved, basil, dried peas, six different varieties of peppers, snake gourd, venison jerky, and more. It's a great experience and keeps alive local and regional Ozarkian traditions.
