Sequence for Pentecost Friday: Sing to God your praises high, Voice and heart both music making, Citizens of Heaven's Kingdom. For the Holy Ghost's Grace, As on This Day, Lighted on the Apostles, In Tongues of Fire, out of Heaven Descending. Now may the Heavenly Paraclete, Abiding in us, wash out our offences, And make us Temples meet for His Indwelling. May He within our bosom's place Rich store of His Gifts and Graces to aid us, That we may conform our life to His Bidding, So through the ages of ages We proclaim, "Alleluia, "To God All Praise and Power and Honour and Glory."
