Mass Proper Preface for Pentecost Friday: V. It is very meet and just, right and available for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks unto Thee, O Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Everlasting God. And humbly to entreat Thy Majesty: that the Spirit, the Paraclete, may come upon us, and, not just by Dwelling within, but may He build the Temple of His Majesty. By Whom mayest Thou with Thine Only-Begotten Son ever Deign to Gaze Down with Gentle Consideration, and to Shine Forth for Ever with the Brightness of Thine Indwelling. Through the Same Christ Our Lord. Through Whom Angels praise Thy Majesty, Dominions Adore, Powers Tremble.
