Y'all...it has been months. Months since I sat down and even thought about creating something new. Months since my mom was diagnosed with leukemia. The desire to create has still been there, but dormant for a season. Now, I am ready. Ready to match colors, textures, styles, and design ideas to see what comes out on the other side. I hope Cynthia Ruchti doesn't mind me using her book, Afraid of the Light, as the first book for this comeback. 🙈 She is the sweetest person inside and out so I think I'm safe. 😉 All of these still components still need to be put together, and I've bookmarked several passages that have an autumnal theme.
