"Murder and the Red Haired Girl" by Hearnden Balfour. $25 1933 Hardback. A little-known, rare gem of a novel. One of the swell mystery novels full of 1930's wit and detective work. A cocktail of fine dialogue and fun descriptions. I read this one myself, and enjoyed it heartily. If you like Dorothy Sayers mysteries, my guess is you'll relish this one too. Back in the 30's Balfour was praised as having the humor of P. G. Wodehouse, and the skill at suspense of E. Phillips Oppenheim. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1088229544
