I had as much fun in my mid 20s embarrassing physics students by debunking Schrodinger's Cat as I did chasing women.

Their argument (assuming you know the Cat): "No one can know reality. Reality can exist in different states simultaneously and we do not know it until we know it."

The idea: "Wow, look at me, I'm so intelligent and meta! And I'm SO IMPORTANT that reality is only reality if I perceive it."

Same thing with this 2+2=5 nonsense. To the Cat, no, you morons. Reality exists independent your knowledge of participation. It doesn't fucking matter if YOU know if the cat is alive or dead or not. The fucking cat is alive or dead whether you realize it or not. And we can prove that by doing away with you, and the cat still fucking exists.

Same shit here, only weaker. No, a factory that has inside of the parts of another factory doesn't mean it's a factory and a half. The factory is going to magically coalesce, and it doesn't matter how much magical thinking you ascribe to an object.
