ALLATRA: RESEARCH, SCIENCE AND INNOVATION ALLATRA is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to public awareness, research, and education on climate and geodynamic risks, environmental issues, including microplastics and nanoplastics, and the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms. ALLATRA has a presence in more than 180 countries. For more than a decade, our participants have supported open dialogue, public advocacy, and research into practical solutions for these global challenges. Since 2017, ALLATRA's global headquarters has been located in the State of Georgia, United States. ALLATRA is a volunteer-based organization with no formal membership. Its activities are funded through voluntary public donations and conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Its work is organized around three core areas: research, advocacy, and education. Across countries and languages, ALLATRA participants connect scientists, public institutions, civil society representatives, and local communities. They prepare analytical reports, organize conferences, briefings, seminars, public screenings, and expert workshops, and translate complex global risks into clear, accessible resources for the public and decision-makers. ALLATRA also produces high-quality educational media, including documentary films, video podcasts, interviews, climate updates, coverage of socially significant events, and multilingual social media content for a broad international audience. ALLATRA Global Research Center has published the analytical report "Nanoplastics. A Systematic Risk Analysis for Human Health, Ecosystems, and the Environment," available under a CC BY 4.0 license and assigned DOI: https://doi.org/10.65849/agrc.report.mnp.2026.04001. The report is intended for the scientific community, regulatory authorities, policy institutions, and the general public. Its findings were presented at the European Parliament during the conference "Micro- and Nanoplastics in the Biosphere: Impact on Human Health and Planetary Climate," which convened scientists and EU policymakers to address the possible health risks and environmental impacts of micro- and nanoplastics. ALLATRA addresses climate, environmental, and human rights risks through engagement with international institutions and national partners. At COP29 in Baku, COP30 in Belém, COP16 in Colombia, and COP16 in Saudi Arabia, ALLATRA representatives delivered expert climate assessments and held meetings with government and international officials. In Bolivia, ALLATRA established scientific cooperation with the Vice Ministry of Civil Defense, the Bolivian Catholic University "San Pablo", and the San Calixto Observatory, focusing on natural-disaster risk, geodynamic monitoring, and scientific advisory support. ALLATRA co-hosted the International Interfaith Conference "United in Liberty: The Rise of Spiritual Diplomats" in the U.S. Capitol Complex in Washington, D.C. (2026). The conference aimed to unite faith leaders, lawmakers, and civil society to reinforce fundamental freedoms, democratic values, and child protection. The ALLATRA Global Research Center produced the documentary "Nanoplastics: Threat to Life," which was screened internationally, including in the United States, Germany, Latin America, and other regions, and recognized at several international film festivals. At the international summit ChangeNOW in Paris in 2026, ALLATRA GRC led the expert workshop "Nanoplastics: The Invisible Threat and Global Risk: What Can We Do?" ALLATRA led events on micro- and nanoplastic awareness and their impact on health and the environment at Civic Hall in Manhattan (October 24 and December 9, 2025, and on March 27 and April 23, 2026), the Georgia State Capitol (June, 2025), Bay Atlantic University in Washington, D.C. (May 20, 2025), in Tunisia (from December 10 to 16, 2025), including at the Arab University of Sciences, the National Center for Research in Materials Science, in Tirana (Albania) (from October 24 to 26, 2025) at the 22nd Annual European and Middle East Women's Leadership Conference, at Assisi Pax International Assembly in Assisi (Italy) (June 27, 2026), as well as at other venues.
