About 40 minutes into Carlson's recent interview of Joe Kent. IMO it sounds like exhibit A of a sort of political bankruptcy filing. As if Trump's saying, with his various statements and with this by Kent where he's lauding how serious and good Trump was --how seriously the Iranians took Trump and how he's such a great negotiator; it sounds like Trump is saying: "You want me to resign? I could resign. I could walk away and let Vance take over. You want that? Of course, who would he be saying that to? Well, everyone but mostly to the other factions that can read between the lines. And who have some power or influence. So I'm suggesting that Kent might be... Well I don't know but he sounds so positive for Trump overall and is shaping things so much in Trump's favor, in mitigation for Trump, that I almost suspect he's doing it --the resignation, the interview, with Trump's consent if not blessing. Trump's negotiating for an off-ramp. Might be that to get USA out of current developing quagmire, he has to resign. Maybe he's not too upset about that idea. He's taken corporations into bankruptcy before. What would be the big deal for him to take his political brand into bankruptcy, especially if he's got a good case to revitalize it later. Or maybe he's just taking it into a period of 'filing' the petition, but not resigning and just re-organizing the political factional landscape. Like, ok, we got rid of these advisors. We dumped that faction out. Edit: Ah, just a minute later, ~41:00, Kent won't name the 'advisors' 'gatekeepers' who kept guys like him out of some of the discussions. He's keeping that close to his vest. Another indicator that this is part of negotiation. Kent's not just a lone guy bailing or rage quitting; he's still in the game. Edit 2: Sounds like other factions probably consider him still a player too as apparently there are reports that authorities are starting investigations for "alleged" leaks.
