The most fucked up thing is that the people who were right too early are silenced, and often become unemployable, and therefore destitute, while other people use their talking points and talk about how they were "canceled" while they get more fame and prominence off complaining about how bad cancel culture is when they were the ones originally canceling the people who were right too early.
