This is the state of abortion politics in American today: 1/3 of voters are basically pro-life;1/3 of voters are pro-choice. Then there is 1/3 in the middle who just don’t want to think about the issue and resent anyone who makes them think about the issue. Right now, the vast majority of this middle third blame pro-lifers for making them think about abortion and have decided that the best way to not hear about it is to give pro-choicers whatever they want.
