My latest piece, in which I discuss the hellscape I grew up in, and how I'm trying to recover from it. FWIW, the kids these days have it much, MUCH worse than I did. The world they're growing up in makes mine look downright pleasant. I can't even imagine how much damage having social media and a smart phone would caaused in high school.
