Back in February 2023, I got to compose additional music on this upcoming sequel to Night Caller. The principle composer - Richard Band - scored the first movie and returns to score this sequel. While the composer was perfectly capable of composing all the music himself he felt it was time for me to cut my teeth on a real project. So he threw me about 5 cues to do under which he then directed me in the same way a director would. It was a great experience, I proved I could do the job and we are working again on another film by the same director currently. I will most likely be credited as a Music Assistant (as well as under my Real Name) as is the common practice in the industry. That’s being generous too as most are deemed Ghost Writers and never receive any credit. Oh, I got paid too.
