The Portal de la Verge was the northern entrance through the 12th century wall around Peratallada in the Empordà region of northeastern Catalonia, Spain. It was built with sandstone tallada (carved) from the moat around the medieval village. #Peratallada #Emporda #Catalonia #Spain
