Why hasn't anyone posted here yet? Here's a mix with 23 tracks that I have been working on. Still dealing with mastering issues. For example, it sounds OK on all my headphones and home speakers, including chintzy cheap ones ... but when I play it in the car, there are moments when the pitch seems to go flat. Probably too many modulation effects? I started a home recording group on Gab for purposes of starting a small workshop, but then saw this one and thought I'd post and see if anyone responds. Gorilla Well I have had it up to here with all their fake-ass laws I am nothing but a walking case of probable cause Sometimes I see this world is nothing but a set of deadly jaws Designed to chew up our perfection and to spit it into flaws When I am plotting my escape, the only thing that gives me pause Is that gorilla in the corner of the room He's so heavy Once upon a time I lost a piece of my mind To a flash of summer lightning all but rendered me blind I surely would have lost my way but from some friends who were kind Enough to lead me back along the labyrinths I'd left behind Still, when I'm groping for my keys, the only thing I seem to find Is that gorilla in the corner of the room His smile is like a code of honor graven in stone He never says a word but he won't leave me alone His eyes shine like a blizzard on the telephone Sometimes he tries to laugh but it just comes out a groan For he remembers the garden well And the flaming shapes of hell It's a sickness, I know, but ever since my youth I have entertained a hope of ascertaining the Truth Meanwhile, who knows how many blue moons have gone by and then poof I've just been chasing dancing cats across a hot tin roof To nab a postulate of which the one and only proof Is that gorilla in the corner of the room
