<p>Every so often the media floods people with tense arguments over the Electoral College and 2019 is one of those times. Two other divisive narratives that circulate around are of the virtues of capitalism and the use of equity. If there was only one lesson to be learned from RussiaGate, it was to be wary of media narratives. The discussion around the Electoral College, capitalism, and the concept of equity is another example of media manipulation. With seemingly no other purpose besides keeping the demonization of others as the enemy, these topics are presented as incompatible.
