Florence County Sheriff’s Office investigators, working with QVC’s Global Security Operations, say former employees pushed refund credits for merchandise that was never sent back. The sheriff’s office put the first batch of bogus refunds at more than $58,000. The charge on the warrants is breach of trust with fraudulent intent. Arrested August 27 were Jessica Demetric Purvis, 35, of Bennettsville; Tameka L. Rogers, 51, of Florence; Imani Kadijah Rogers, 24, of Florence; Yaysher Damion Grice, 25, of Dillon; and Jaquanna Miesha Davis, 33, of Lake View. On August 28, deputies booked Margaret A. McDonald, 49, of Bennettsville, and alleged she worked the same return trick for more than $21,000 in credits. The case is still open, and the sheriff’s office said more arrests are likely. What wonderful people. #SouthCarolina #QVC
